Community Table FAQ
What is a Community Table?
Duncan Farmers’ Market sets aside a space at each of our markets to provide opportunities for community groups to inform, educate, and inspire our shoppers on topics of interest and issues important to where we live.
What can I give away at the market?
Any products given away at the market need to be adjudicated and approved by
the Board of Directors. Any give away items must remain in compliance with our Rules and Regulations. To support the livelihood of our vendors, any food items should be purchased directly from our vendors at Duncan Farmers’ Market.
What makes you eligible for a Community Table at our markets?
We prioritise organisations with a mandate related to food, food systems or agriculture. Due to limited market space, we provide opportunities to groups outside of this focus on a case-by-case basis.
